An experienced California teacher based in Montebello, CA, Roshan Shah, spent over thirty years as a Math Teacher at Montebello High School. Roshan Shah also served as Chair of the Math Department, served as a member of the high school’s Leadership Team, and worked as an adult education and summer school instructor.
In 2013, Roshan Shah joined the Montebello Unified School District Board of Trustees. He also served in an advisory role with the CA Scholarship Federation. As an educator, Roshan Shah prided himself on helping many of his students become the first members of their families to attend college.
Roshan Shah earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Southern California (USC) in Los Angeles, graduating cum laude. He volunteered in the Emergency Room at the USC Medical Center, served as a USC Upward Bound Math and Science Instructor, and joined the Alpha Epsilon Delta pre-med honor society. He subsequently earned a Master of Science degree in Educational Administration from National University in Los Angeles.
